Website plan

The homepage foregrounds concert photography and video clips, positioning live performance at the centre of the artist’s identity. The use of low-key lighting, spotlight imagery and a limited colour palette of deep blues, purples and black creates a striking, atmospheric visual style. This reinforces the artist’s brand as performance-driven and emotionally intense. The repetition of stage lighting motifs across the page establishes visual cohesion and brand consistency, which is essential in constructing a clear star persona. By integrating multimedia elements, the website reflects contemporary audience expectations of interactivity. The video content also serves a promotional function, encouraging further streaming and cross-platform engagement. At the bottom of the homepage, I have included a sign-up feature. This follows industry conventions of official artist websites, enabling direct communication with audiences and fostering a sense of exclusivity and fan community.  The overall layout is clean and image led, ensuring that visual media takes priority over written text. This reflects the expectations of a 16–25 target audience who are visually oriented and accustomed to consuming music culture through social media and digital platforms.

In addition to the homepage, I created a dedicated shows page. This page opens with a dynamic live concert clip, immediately immersing the audience in the spectacle and energy of performance. As users scroll, clearly structured tour dates are presented in a conventional format, followed by a link to purchase merchandise. This linear structure guides the audience from experience (live performance visuals) to commercial action, reflecting the economic function of contemporary music websites. The design maintains visual consistency with the homepage through similar lighting, colour schemes and performance imagery, ensuring a coherent and recognisable brand identity across the site.
